Beta Hydroxy Acids

Also known as: BHA

• lipid soluble substances used in acne therapy for oily skin due to their exfoliating properties and in the prevention of clogged pores
• most known BHA is salicylic acid.

Biotin

• vitamin part of the B-complex group and responsible for making of fatty acids
• it helps in the formation of glycogen
• used as active ingredient in hair care products for damaged hair.
