I've had this straightener for a few years and it works wonders on my hair.. I never use it when my hair is wet though because thats just dumb.. What I do to make it work is.. I take a shower.. Let my hair dry enough so its not dripping. Then I put Aussie Leave In Conditioner. I then blow dry my hair and then straighten my hair layer by layer. However.. The past couple of my months my hair has been more greasy and more dry.. so I'm trying to find a different method because my hair looks horrible when its not straight and I'm not putting chemicals in my hair to permanently relax it.

I used revelon dry hair straightener before and it was so much better although not as powerful and couldn't straighten wet hair. anyway i used this a few times and it totally destroyed my hair. my hair is all brittle now with split ends. and this only after a month of use. i use pre straightening serum, heat protecting serum, nothing works. it still damages hair. sorry guys but as another reviewer said it really is too good to be true hence won't recommend it/ i'll try using it on completely dry hair from now on maybe that would work
