If you can't sleep at night and in the day time you feel tired and sleepy are you suffering of insomnia. This could be caused by stress, anxiety, depression or exciting substances intake, such as caffeine, alcohol for example.
How you treat it:

  1. Drink a glass of warm milk before you go to sleep. Milk contains a substance named tryptophan, which is an essential amino acid with calming properties.
  2. Chamomile tea is a good sedative; as well as hop plant cones which the sleepy-time and anti-stress teas have in their composition.
  3. Valerian root is a natural sedative which induce a peaceful sleep, without being sleepy the next day.
