This home remedy is for a bronzing lotion that is not only a great way of giving yourself a healthy sun-kissed look, but it is also kind to your skin because it is made from completely natural ingredients.
Add about 10 grams of emulsifying wax, 5 grams of beeswax, 150 grams of jojoba and 30ml of evening primrose oil to a double boiler and allow to melt together. Ensure the mixture does not boil. Add 250ml of distilled water to the mixture as well as a few drops of phenonip preservative and stir well.
Allow this base to cool completely before adding the mica of your choice. Cappuccino is good for a darker tone, while gold and copper micas deliver a more burnished look. Apply a small amount of mica and mix thoroughly, remember you can always add more if needed. Pop the lotion into a spray bottle and apply as a regular bronzer.
