If you suffer of insomnia try to avoid at dinner time certain food such as:

  • Cold cuts, canned food, game meet, peas, beans, rice, eggs, and fermented cheeses.
  • Make sure that your dinner is not too light, because hunger wakes you up, but not too heavy either.
  • Make sure your dinner contains proteins (fish or poultry) and calcium (dairy products).
  • At night you should avoid diuretic food and stimulants such as alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea (that contains caffeine) and Coca-Cola.
  • Try to drink a warm glass of goat milk before going to bed.
