Brittle fingernails that break or crack are easily cured with a simple change in diet. The classic remedy for overcoming brittle nails is to increase the amount of biotin you intake each day. Biotin is usually called vitamin B7 although it is sometimes labeled as vitamin H and is essential for healthy cell growth.
To cure your brittle nails simply ensure you are eating plenty of biotin - it can be found in many different foods such as egg yolk, cauliflower, walnuts, peanuts, tomatoes, oats, carrots and raspberries to name just a few.
