I usually don't bother to review a product unless I am unhappy about it, but this one is really good. No allergic reaction in my case, so I might be a lucky one or I don't know. Anyway, looking in the mirror I feel more comfortable now in my mid 40s. It will be great if I could get it cheaper, but this is another story

I LOVE this product when I can afford it! Way too expensive for the average person. And the last batch I ordered is brown and has a bad odor. Am hoping its not bad!!

Severe Allergic Reaction with Big Price Tag

I recently purchased this product on sale for $150 but upon using it my face and neck broke out in a severe red, itchy rash that continued for several days despite discontinuing the product. Unfortunately the sales person at the drug store where I purchased the product omitted to emphasize to me that I would not be able to get a refund unless I used the product within 30 days! I\'m now out of pocket $150 and toting around a red face and neck! How disappointing.

MADE MY FACE WORSE THAN EVER

I had lazer treatment and injections to my face. The clinic had me use this product, which costs $189. I used the sample first without a reaction. My face was wonderful for about 2 months. Ladies, please be advised,,,an allergic reaction can occur after using anytime. My face broke out in a rash all over,,,it was itchy, burning and painful. My face never looked like this in my entire life. I immediately went to the doctor and was advised it was indeed this product. He, therefore, gave me an injection, plus steroids for treatment. I was miserable, not to mention, the agony of taking steroids.

My face is pretty resilient so when I tried this product I wasn't worried. I used it for about a week with no problems. Then one night I washed my face, put on the Prevage and went to bed. I woke up about 4 hours later scratching my face. When I went in to the bathroom and looked in the mirror my entire face was swollen, itchy and looked like I had a severe sunburn. At first I was reluctant to believe that it was the Prevage. I stopped using it and after my face was clear for about 2 weeks I tried again. Same result. I tried it a 3 and final time just to make sure...after all it's quite expensive and I didn't want to throw it out! All I have to say is this is the only product my skin has ever reacted negatively to. I'm extremely disappointed. What a waste of money!

BAD reaction

spot tested, started using it slowly like told. Never told that certain hair dyes may affect ones sensitivity to it. 1 mo after I started & 1 week after getting my hair colored I broke out in horrible hives all over my face. I am on oral steroids & not sure I can leave my house. I would not recommend this to anyone!

Bad Smell

I recently purchased Prevage and the sample on the counter was a pale yellow color and I did not notice a bad smell. The one I purchased is a brownish color and has a very sickening smell. I returned it because I thought there might be something wrong with it but the sales person said it was ok. I am thinking of insisting on a refund as the smell makes it very offensive to put on my face . Maybe they have a new formulation or has my store just got a bad batch?

Loved it -- for exactly three weeks

I did the allergy test and had no reaction. Used the product every other day for three weeks and loved the results. It really did make my skin feel softer and seemed to diminish age spots. Yesterday, within a few minutes of applying, my whole face, but especially my jaw line, began to burn and itch. Even washing it off with soap has not helped. I am miserable today -- my face is red and blotchy and the itch has not been relieved no matter what I use. $150 for this?

Prevage is for all ages and I am 18 years old. I love how the product makes my skin feel. Prevage night helps a lot. Always use a moisturizer after the treament. I use Intervene Moisturizer. If you are older and more worried about fine lines and wrinkle, use Ceramide Plump Perfect Cream as a moisturizer. As for the night time always use Prevage Night. Trust me its worth it. I like how I am protecting my skin. -All the proudcts I mentioned are from Elizabeth Arden

Prevage Hype-is it really that good?

I\'m 42 years old.. and recently decided to have a photo facial to rid my face, chest and shoulders of sun damage from earlier years.. I have to say that I am very pleased with the results.. My sun spots are gone. Part of the treatment was also used in combinatiion with using Prevage... so it\'s hard for me to say if the Prevage product made that big of an impact in the overall treatment of sun damage.. I\'ve used Elizabeth Arden anti-aging and makeup products for years, and believe that they do work... in repsect to minimizing and preventuing further damage... But if you are looking to eliminate previous sun spots/damage, I believe that you will need more than just a topical skincare product. Bottom line is that think people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to miracle lotions and potions.. Between the photo facial.. and using the Prevage skincare product, I don\'t feel the need to wear base foundation anymore.. and it\'s been years since I\'ve felt that good about my skin. Don\'t forget that good nutrition and plenty of exercize helps too though!! People constantly confuse my 24 year old daughter and I for being sisters!!!

What happened

I've started to use this crean about three months ago. did not notice any changes to my appearance, but liked how it feels on my face whwn i applied it first thing at the morning. Recently I bought a new bottle, as decided not to change the cream yet. what a dissapointment- the cream hes changed not even the color, but the smell too. This new smell makes me sick! What a waste of money!!!!

I must say I had my pleasant surprise with Prevage. When I purchased it I thought of other Elizabeth Arden cosmetics I used before. And it seems I didn't go wrong with this one, either. What really impressed me is that it reduced the appearance of sun burns. Great lotion!

Finally something for men, too
